HHGttG Game

I found the box for my HHGttG game. It came with what you see here. Clockwise from the left: yellow Order for Destruction from Cottingshire County, silver Vogon Order for Destruction, game box, sunglasses made of black cardstock (don't show up in the pic, sorry), Microscopic Space Fleet, navel lint, and 5 1/4" floppy disk.

I downloaded the game yesterday from a site, but haven't yet tried to play.

OMG! That's soooooo awesome! I've never played the HHGTTG game! I'm so jealous. I wish I lived a littler closer, and I'd come on over...

Let me confess: I was quasi-obsessed with text-based games while still but a larval geek.

My all-time favorite still remains The Lurking Horror, which is the uniquely disturbing experience of an interactive Lovecraft novel.

But, perhaps I'm just drawn to black and icky things...

I found it available today at archive.org, a little bit of ferreting about also got great scans of all of the items in the box as well as various other useful stuff
