Zaphod and Ford

or
Lister and Holly
or
Castor and Pollux
or
Crockett and Tubbs :)
or
Bill and Ted
or
Vincent and Theo.

What would you name them? Not just random names, either, you need to pick two that go together.

No props, please ignore the ranting bear in the corner clutching the blue bed pan.
He's off his meds today, poor thing.

And these pictures perfectly manage to capture my feelings about cats. First pic? Cute. Second pic? Scary. And I go back and forth like that for hours.

There's a book my 7.5-year old is reading, Captain Underpants meets Professor Poopypants, something like that. Anyway, the story revolves around Prof. Poopypants becoming a bad guy because everyone makes fun of him and his name. He goes on to force the whole world to change their names using three charts - take the first letter of your first name and it corresponds to a word on the first chart, then the first and last letters of your last name correspond to words on the other two charts. Mine came out as Poopsy Monkeypants...

I suddenly forgot why I'm telling you all this.

Why not Ben and Jerry? Or Tom and Jerry?

C'mon man! Can't be that hard. If you're like my family, the name usually evolves (microevolves, no such thing as macroevolving. Just for your Bear.) into something altogether different.

For example:
We had one cat we named Biff.
Which evolved into Biffer.
Which evolved into Beefer.
Which evolved into Beefy Man.
Which evolved into Beefer Zookie Man. (no clue how Zookie got in there though. Random mutation I think.)
Which evolved (devolved? Lost information?) into Zookie Man.
Which ultimately resulted in Zookie, or Zook.

So the name you choose is really just the starting block.
